MCA’s achievements — Tan Teck Huat (Malaysian Insider-19 Feb,2012)

FEB 19 — I think it is time everyone gave the MCA some recognition for their achievements and what they have done for Malaysians. 

So here is the roll call of high achievers in MCA: 

Tan Koon Swan:  in 1986, he was sentenced to two years’ jail by the Singapore High Court for criminal breach of trust relating to the collapse of Pan Electric Industries. 
Ling Liong Sik: former party president and long-time minister has been charged with cheating and misleading the government in the Port Klang Free Zone scandal. 
Chan Kong Choy: former party president and minister charged with several counts of deceiving former PM Abdullah Badawi into approving deals linked to the PKFZ. 
Chua Soi Lek: current party president who resigned in 2008 after being featured in a sex VCD with a woman who was not his wife. 
Kee Yong Wee: deputy trade minister was jailed for his role in the Komuda, the deposit-taking cooperative, in which the cash deposits of many ordinary Chinese members were found to have been misappropriated to save companies owned by some MCA leaders. The total loss was estimated to be RM3.6 billion. 

Wang Choon Wing: deputy minister was jailed in 1987 with criminal breach of trust in a deposit-taking cooperatives scandal. 

* In between alleged criminal activities and indulging in their own fantasies, the party that claims to represent Malaysian Chinese has also scored other achievements, namely, leadership tussles. 

There was Michael Chen who left MCA after losing to Lee San Choon; the first Team and Team B battle between Neo Yee Pan and Tan Koon Swan; there was the fallout between Ling Liong Sik and Lee Kim Sai; and the fallout between Lim Ah Lek and Ling, which resulted in the second Team A and Team B fight. And then there was the third Team A and Team B fight between Chua Soi Lek and Ong Tee Keat.

Our Nation has become an unholy nation because of our corrupt leaders and no-one knows the day or the hour when the end will come …
- THE END of the WEALTH of the NATION,
- THE END of OUR SAVINGS IN THE BANKS,
- THE END of OUR SAVINGS IN EPF etc.

And when the END comes, the voice of the people will be heard and this corrupt government will be toppled.

But then it will be too late as only the good will be left to rot, and the criminals in BarisanNasional and their children who had stashed away in foreign countries the money that they looted from the people, will continue to travel in high-end Mercs & Beemers & live in the sky in RM10+ million condos.

WE have a choice .. to STOP THE BN BARBARIANS who are AT THE GATES OF EPF …
WE have a choice .. to recover from THE BN BARBARIANS who splurged MILLIONS of RINGGIT in order to improve their damaged image …
WE have a choice .. to Recover ALL the money that was lost through out-of-court settlements with Tajudin Ramli …
WE have a choice .. to Recover the RM12.5 BILLION RINGGIT that was stolen by all the criminals of PKFZ Project.

The choice is ours to make, so we only have ourselves to blame when the END comes. We can either be an instrument of good or of evil, and a servant of God or of SATAN.

So let’s STAND UP & BE COUNTED as the nation’s future is being jeopardized & everything around us seem to be spinning out-of-control, and the vast majority of people are being plundered & their human dignity is being trampled.

Since the weekend is here & most of us will be visiting our respective house of worship, let us not forget that going down on our knees or raising-up our hands or joss-sticks to the Almighty is meaningless, if we blame God when bad things happen to us but turn a BLIND-EYE & DEAF-EAR when the BAND-OF-ROBBERS in the government continue to ROB the people or INSULT a community during its New Year celebrations.

Malaysia is a great country but most of the people's spirits are broken by all those who breached the people’s trust and reneged on their oath of office in the MINISTRIES, in the POLICE, in the ARMY, in JAIS, in MAIS, in MACC, and in the JUSTICE DEPT. This Government has been dysfunctional for a long time and the people MUST wake-up as our government is one of the most corrupt, incompetent & abusive since Mahaltir took power & ruled the country with racist & religious threats whilst enriching his cronies. When a politician abuses his office and uses his power to enrich Himself, His Family & His friends, the people of God should rise-up and protest with all their might & courage as it is a requirement in all our religions. In this country the politicians have marginalized God & only use the name of God as a weapon to threaten the people so that they can continue to oppress the people & rob the nation.

The politicians have become so bold & brazen that they have ZERO respect for the traditions and culture of other races resulting in an unforgivable insult to the Chinese community during its New Year celebrations when a mad politician, Ibrahim Ali deliberately handed-out Ang Pows in WHITE ENVELOPES in a Chinese New Year function co-hosted by MCA. Other than the few regular guys who are protesting, there was hardly a whimper from the majority of Chinese in FACEBOOK or other social media. (Just check-out all your friends in FACEBOOK to see who has protested). I am SHOCKED as to what has become of this community – DO YOU NOT CARE ANYMORE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR COMMUNITY? The only time I hear your shouts is when sumptuous food is laid on your table or when you all are drowning yourselves with BEER or when visiting a foreign land and screaming at the top-of-your-voice at the beauty of the arts & architecture & its people. Are you turning a BLIND EYE & DEAF EAR to all the bad that is happening around us. (Two of my Friends in FB who are regularly exposing by linking the crimes-of-the-Govt that is unearthed are Cynthia Hor and Darren Teo ). To the rest …. ARE YOU NOT ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR NOT STANDING-UP FOR YOUR COMMUNITY? Wake-up Guys … Its not late … let your voices be heard.

TGIF !! ... Since the weekend is here & most of us will be visiting our respective house of worship, let us not forget that going down on our knees or raising-up our hands or joss-sticks to the Almighty is meaningless, if we blame God when bad things happen to us? 

God’s ways are not our ways & there are things we would have asked of God … maybe a relationship and it didn’t materialize. Perhaps that was God’s answer in not allowing the relationship to materialize as it could have shattered us beyond our imagination. Most of the time we violate what God has forbidden & abuse & overindulge in e.g. Smoking, Drinking, Sex or Relationships & suffer physically the consequences of these over-indulgences. Thus God cannot be blamed for the consequences of our actions as we have chosen to indulge in this evil although God would have warned us through our conscience … meaning, we reap what we sow & deserve all the pain & the suffering that comes with our passion for abuse.
There are many among us who were born into situations where they don’t need to sweat for their meals, for their education nor for job opportunities. This is not because of their brilliance, but because they were born into well-connected families or where their family members were in positions whereby they can influence a decision or take advantage of a situation which is beneficial for their family member at the expense of another deserving candidate. Thus the roads they traverse in their journey-of-life are always paved with gold, with golden opportunities & with beautiful Men/Women trampling over each other to get their attention etc.
But MOST of us are NOT that fortunate. But opportunities seem to come, maybe through sheer hard-work, through our own initiatives and through our friendships that we create in our journey-of-life. And most of the time we are happy with what we have achieved through these painful circumstances & for having come this far.
However, for some of us, this happiness after sometime may come to a grinding halt - thus, although we prosper & live in comfort after a painful journey through poverty, there seems to be something that is niggling or troubling us. It could be anything .. Family, Relationships, Work, Past & Present Betrayals or it could be something that we want but are unable to get. It could also be childhood memories of being cheated, betrayed or taken advantage-of because of our family background which is usually poverty. We may turn to God for help to overcome this un-happiness but even our prayers doesn’t seem to go through the roof. We become frustrated, melancholy & at times angry with ourselves … asking why this should happen to me although I have all that I want. 

Thus we start planting these tiny bombs of past betrayals etc which implodes whenever we are frustrated, melancholy or angry or maybe even explode when in the company of others, thus damaging relationships that we try to create. If it is bad memories of the past that is causing this un-happiness, we should seek God’s help to LET GO of these memories & move-on with life with what we have achieved to-date. God will not help us if we choose to linger on these past bad memories and thus we cannot blame God for bad things (un-happiness) that happens to us.

A SLAP for Mahathir : Anwar acquitted from a politically-charged sodomy charge, a drama that has riveted and shocked Malaysians and earned worldwide criticism. Since Mahathir’s era the Judiciary was perceived to be the most corrupt sector in the country. But with this verdict the people are shocked that there are a few good men left.

Five people suffered minor injuries in three explosions at the vicinity of Jalan Duta court complex this morning where the verdict was to be announced. Just before BERSIH-2 explosives were found near SOGO. During HINDRAF’s protests ( for the right to live in this country as equal human beings), the police found arms catchment in Batu Caves. This is NOT Rocket Science & we need not seek FBI or CIA’s help to find-out as to who were planting these, neither do we need to ask the people who are put in charge of law and order.

Addicted with the power of money, the powers-that-be are dwelling in in the tents of wickedness and will use everything at their disposal to remain in power. So let us not continue to be manipulated and sleep with the enemy by remaining silent to all the evil that is going-on in the country for over 50 years - Corruption, Discrimination, Injustice, Inequality, Abuse of Power and Religious Persecution. Let not our silence continue to take this nation of ours down the likes of Afganistan, Pakistan, Sudan or Nigeria.

Shortly after being acquitted, Anwar said on his Twitter feed that “in the coming election, the voice of the people will be heard and this corrupt government will be toppled from its pedestals of power.”
There may be amongst us those who don’t like Anwar for whatever reason, but he seems to be the only one who could bring together the diverse opposition groups - a conservative ethnic Malay Islamic party, a secular party representing ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities in order to challenge & topple the corrupt BN. Let’s give him a chance as he knows what pain is, as he had suffered heinously under the blood thirsty Dr. M.

Remember we are the good guys & the powers-that-be are the bad guys. So STAY AWAKE for we do not know when the hour will come .. the hour when GE-13 will be announced when we can purge this nation of all despicable politicians or continue to be manipulated & molested through carefully designed propaganda campaigns meant to portray the powers-that-be as the morally decent guys, and we the bad guys, while they continue the rape of the nation’s coffers.

TGIF !! ... Since the weekend is here & most of us will be visiting our respective house of worship, let us not forget that going down on our knees or raising-up our hands or joss-sticks to the Almighty is meaningless, if we were asleep to all the evil that was and is going on in our country, especially with regards to the Band Of Thieves in the government who were, and are, ransacking everything that they were entrusted with.
Religion can be the best thing around & Religion can be the worst thing around. Religion can be the best thing around if we use Religion to bring comfort & joy to everyone we meet especially those in pain. Religion can be the worst thing around when it is used, as we witnessed in 2011, to inflict PAIN, ANGER, VENGEANCE, ENVY, HATRED and BITTERNESS.
And in 2011 we witnessed how this nation of ours had become an unholy nation because of our corrupt leaders and 2011 was also a shameful period for our nation as the Leaders of this nation unleashed on 9th of July, chemical-laced water-cannons and baton-charging policemen on innocent citizens who marched for electoral reforms. All our efforts with BERSIH-2 were not in vain as some of the recommendations are being implemented and the candle-light vigils were a big success with the release of the EO-6.
Remember what C.S.Lewis said, “We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road." But the situation in our country is what a friend said in her blog “doing the Joget dance - one step forward, 2 steps back.”
Many of us are also stumbling blocks for the progress of our nation with our vacillations when it comes to making a stand. We would prefer to check-in at eateries & pubs for our favorite char-kwai-teow & a can of pí-jiǔ plus a bottle of wine & only protest or make a stand in the urinals.
Now we are living in the "in-between-times" i.e. in-between-the-elections when things can become worse when the powers-that-be will use everything at their disposal to remain in power. But WE HAVE A CHOICE: to have zero-tolerance for corruption & abuse of power or ultimately to implode and disintegrate emotionally and spiritually as a people and as a nation.

TGIF !!! ... Since the weekend is here (2 December 2011)

TGIF !! ... Since the weekend is here & most of us will be visiting our respective house of worship, let us not forget that going down on our knees or raising-up our hands or joss-sticks to the Almighty is meaningless, if we are asleep to all the evil that is going on in our country, especially with regards to the Band Of Thieves in the government who are ransacking everything that they were entrusted with. 

None of our religion calls us to abandon the world, but the call is to help in transforming and shaping it from all acts of corruption, savagery and wickedness. We should never forget that the people are ends to be served by the institutions that make up the economy, not means to be exploited by our politicians for more narrowly defined goals. 

Remember what our Friend said, "there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known," and we are seeing God’s hand in this with the continuous revelation & exposure of ALL forms of super-corruption scandals whilst the powers-that-be are hell-bent on ‘The Abolition of Man’ ie. the abolition of the few good men & women who are revealing & protesting without fear or favor, with honesty, courage and openness, all the Corruptions, Discriminations, and Abuses of Power.

Let’s not be dumb driven cattle allowing our minds to be molded, manipulated & molested through carefully designed propaganda campaigns meant to portray the powers-that-be as the morally decent guys, and we the bad guys, while they continue the rape of the nation’s coffers. 

It’s just been announced that Malaysia's ranking on the Transparency International (TI) Corruption Perception Index (CPI) has fallen for the 3rd year … now 60 from 56 in 2010 whilst the Leader of the Band of Thieves was calling-out to his political party to protect the mad-cow-diseased minister who is embroiled in an alleged scandal of RM250 million (taxpayers money used to purchase luxury condo, overseas trips, plots of land, half a million ringgit Mercedes Benz CLS 350 CGI). Through their actions & reaction it seems that our government continues to be an incubator for robbery, thefts, rapes, corruption, discrimination, violence etc. as these seems to be the only values that is continuously being blasted through the government controlled media.

We are living at a time when the leaders of our nation are NOT accepting God’s commands regarding right and wrong, but developing their own personal ethical standards based on an addiction for money and thus are on the warpath against God by their continuous deceit, theft, burglary etc.

So, DO NOT BE AFRAID but just STAY AWAKE for we do not know when the hour will come .. the hour when GE-13 will be announced when we can rid this nation of these despicable politicians.  Have a wonderful weekend whilst listening to “SACRIFICE” by Elton John, Eric Clapton and Dire Straits.
